ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at the underlying mechanisms that cause certain types of cancers, specifically squamous cell carcinomas of the head and neck and the anus. The goal is to understand how these cancers develop and to identify specific markers that could help in their treatment. This study is open to adults aged 18 and older who are candidates for surgery to treat these cancers. However, individuals with advanced cancer that has spread to other parts of the body, those currently being treated for other cancers, or those with weakened immune systems are not eligible to participate.

If you join this study, you will be asked to provide your informed consent, which means you agree to participate after being fully informed about what the study involves. The trial is currently actively recruiting participants, and all eligible individuals will be carefully monitored throughout the process. Your participation could contribute valuable information that may aid in the understanding and treatment of these cancers.
