ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well the autonomic nervous system, which controls automatic body functions like heart rate and blood pressure, is working in people with certain health conditions. The goal is to find better ways to evaluate the health of the heart's autonomic nervous system, as problems in this area can lead to serious issues like irregular heartbeats or sudden cardiac death. Researchers will use a specific test called the HUTT (which involves tilting the body to see how the heart responds) along with other heart monitoring techniques to gather important information.
If you or a loved one is between the ages of 43 and 310 and is currently receiving treatment at the hospital, you might be eligible to participate in this study. However, certain medications or health conditions, like severe mental illness or serious heart issues, may disqualify someone from joining. Participants will undergo tests to assess their heart's response and help researchers understand more about autonomic nervous system diseases. Taking part in this trial may contribute to developing better diagnostic tools for these conditions in the future.
