ClinConnect Summary
The clinical trial titled "Sharing HaRT in New Expanses" is studying a special group program called Move with HaRT, designed to help female survivors of human trafficking in Uganda. The main goals of the trial are to see how effective this program is in reducing symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and anxiety. Researchers also want to learn about factors that might influence how well the program works and understand any challenges or supports for using this program in the future.
To participate, women aged 14 and older who have experienced forced labor or sex trafficking are eligible. Participants will fill out three surveys to track their mental health over time, join either the Move with HaRT program or continue with usual services, and take part in in-depth interviews about their experiences. The trial is currently looking for participants, and their insights will help improve mental health support for survivors.
