ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new way to freeze eggs, known as semi-automated vitrification, to see if it works as well as the traditional manual freezing method. Vitrification is a fast freezing technique that helps preserve the eggs so they can be used later in fertility treatments. The goal is to compare the survival rates and quality of the eggs after they are thawed and fertilized, to find out if the new semi-automated method is just as effective as the manual one.
To participate in this trial, women must be egg donors who are in good health and have a healthy number of eggs available for donation. They must also be able to give informed consent and meet certain health criteria, such as having negative blood tests for specific infections. Participants can expect to undergo egg retrieval and have their eggs frozen using both methods to help researchers determine the best approach for egg donation and fertility treatments. This study aims to improve the process of egg freezing, which could enhance the chances of pregnancy for women receiving donated eggs.
