ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to find out how certain breathing exercises and activities can help patients recover better after abdominal surgery. The goal is to see which specific activities can improve breathing and reduce issues that might arise after surgery, like low oxygen levels or breathing difficulties. If you're 18 or older, are scheduled for abdominal surgery, and have a higher risk of developing complications, you may be eligible to participate in this study.
Participants in the trial will be monitored closely after their surgery to see how well they breathe and how active they can be. This monitoring will help researchers understand which recommendations are most effective for recovery. It’s important to know that this study is focused on individuals who are considered at high risk for problems after surgery, so if you fit that description, you might be a good candidate to help contribute to valuable findings for future patients.
