ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at different ways to collect bone particles during dental implant surgery. The researchers want to find out which method works best to promote the growth and healing of bone cells, called osteoblasts, that help support dental implants. They will use two techniques: one with low-speed drilling and another with high-speed drilling. By studying how well the bone particles help the cells grow, the goal is to improve the success of dental implants for people who have lost teeth.

To participate in this trial, you need to be an adult who can give consent and have been missing certain teeth in your lower jaw for at least three months. You should also have healthy bone density in that area and no serious medical conditions that could affect healing, like uncontrolled diabetes or certain medications that impact bone health. While the trial is not yet recruiting participants, those who join can expect to undergo a dental procedure where bone particles are collected and studied to help improve future dental implant surgeries.
