ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring two different treatments for neck pain in male weightlifters: Theragun therapy and dry needling. The goal is to see which method helps reduce neck pain, improve how well the neck moves, and lower disability among athletes who have been lifting weights for at least one to two years. The study is open to male athletes aged 20-35 who have a specific neck condition, but it excludes those with certain medical issues like migraines or recent injuries.
Participants in the trial will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. One group will receive Theragun treatment, which uses a handheld device to massage the muscles, while the other group will undergo dry needling, a technique that involves inserting thin needles into the muscles to relieve pain. If you are eligible and choose to participate, you can expect to receive one of these treatments and contribute to understanding which approach works better for neck pain relief.
