ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two treatment techniques, myofascial release and nerve flossing, to see how they affect pain and disability in patients suffering from lumbar radiculopathy. This condition involves irritation of the spinal nerves, leading to symptoms like pain that radiates down the leg, weakness, numbness, and difficulty moving certain muscles. The goal of the study is to find out if these techniques can help reduce pain and improve daily functioning for those affected.
To participate in this study, individuals should be between 20 and 45 years old and have experienced low back pain that spreads to the lower leg for at least two months. They also need to have a specific test result that indicates nerve involvement. However, those with certain conditions, such as spinal fractures, tumors, or serious health issues like diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis, will not be eligible. Participants can expect to receive the treatment techniques and may help contribute to valuable information that could improve care for others with similar conditions.
