ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding and improving how we screen for postpartum anxiety and related conditions in new mothers in British Columbia, Canada. The study aims to gather information from about 550 women who are 4 to 8 weeks postpartum by having them fill out a series of seven questionnaires. These questionnaires will help identify levels of anxiety, depression, social support, pain, quality of life, anger, and sleep issues.
To participate, women need to be at least 19 years old, have given birth in British Columbia within the last 4 to 8 weeks, and be comfortable communicating in English. There are no specific health conditions that would exclude someone from joining. Participants can expect to complete the questionnaires online and may also be invited to a follow-up interview to share their experiences with the screening process. This study hopes to find effective ways to support new mothers' mental health and overall well-being during the postpartum period.
