ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on improving how patients are prepared for their first radiotherapy treatment for cancer. The goal is to see if clearer and more specific instructions can help patients feel more comfortable and make better decisions about their treatment. Since participating in radiotherapy is crucial for its success, this study aims to enhance patient understanding and emotional readiness.
To join the trial, participants need to be at least 18 years old and planning to start their first external beam radiotherapy. Unfortunately, those who have had radiotherapy before or are currently hospitalized for treatment will not be eligible. If you decide to participate, you can expect to receive improved instructional materials and may be asked to share your thoughts on how these changes impact your experience. Your involvement could help shape better support for future patients undergoing radiotherapy.
