ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring the use of a virtual reality (VR) mindfulness program to help improve the well-being of healthcare providers, particularly doctors and advanced practice providers (APPs), who often experience burnout, anxiety, and depression. The program aims to offer these clinicians a convenient and engaging way to practice mindfulness, a technique that can help reduce stress and improve mental health. Many doctors have expressed interest in mindfulness training, but only a small percentage have had the chance to participate in traditional programs. This trial will test whether a VR-based mindfulness program can effectively lower stress levels among healthcare providers.
To be eligible for the study, participants need to be physicians or APPs employed by the Medical Group and must be willing to receive two text messages per week related to the program. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but those who join can expect to engage with the VR mindfulness program on their own schedule. The outcomes of this trial will help determine if this innovative approach can provide meaningful support to healthcare professionals facing high levels of stress.
