ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to help women who have faced homelessness and have experienced violence from a partner. The goal is to provide these women with support and skills to improve their parenting and cope with the emotional challenges they have faced. The program being studied is called Play and Learning Strategies (PALS), which is designed to promote positive parenting through engaging activities with their young children.
To be eligible for this trial, women must have experienced at least one act of physical violence from a partner in the past two years and have at least one child who is five years old or younger. Unfortunately, women who do not speak English or whose partner is present when they sign up cannot participate. If eligible, participants can expect to take part in activities that will help them build confidence in their parenting abilities while also addressing their experiences of trauma. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to offer valuable support for women during a challenging time in their lives.
