ClinConnect Summary
The YouCanPrefer study is exploring how yoga can help patients with cancer during their treatment. Specifically, the trial looks at whether patients prefer to practice yoga in person at a studio or online from home. It will involve weekly group yoga sessions for 12 weeks, and all participants will also have access to a yoga app to practice on their own for at least 10 minutes each day. The goal is to understand how these different settings affect patients’ experiences and health outcomes while they are undergoing treatment.
To participate, you need to be at least 18 years old, currently diagnosed with cancer, and receiving treatment at one of two hospitals in Sweden. You'll also need to be able to understand and communicate in Swedish. If you have severe cognitive issues or serious physical disabilities that make yoga difficult, you may not be eligible. This study is currently recruiting participants, so if you're interested, you can learn more about how to get involved and what to expect during the study.
