This clinical trial, called "Training Grammar With Meaning," is exploring ways to help young children, ages 4 to 6, who have trouble developing language skills. The study is looking for children who have been diagnosed with a developmental language disorder but do not have other conditions that affect their learning or hearing. To qualify, children should have normal thinking abilities and specific scores that show they have language difficulties.

During the trial, selected children will participate in a fun, half-day summer camp for six weeks, where they will take part in activities aimed at improving their language skills. Before the camp starts, children will undergo tests to evaluate their language, hearing, and thinking abilities. After the camp, they will return for a follow-up visit about six weeks later to see how much they have learned and retained. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it’s a great opportunity for children who need support in their language development.

• • Language scores consistent with a developmental language disorder nonverbal cognitive scores consistent with normal-range intellectual functioning
• Exclusion Criteria:
