ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a special program called the Mindfulness-Based Breastfeeding Programme, which aims to help mothers who have had a cesarean section (C-section) better understand and continue breastfeeding. The researchers want to see if this program can improve mothers' awareness and attitudes towards breastfeeding and help them continue breastfeeding their babies longer. The study will involve mothers who gave birth at a specific hospital and will use questionnaires to measure the program's effectiveness.
To participate in this trial, mothers need to be between 18 and 40 years old, have had a C-section after at least 37 weeks of pregnancy, and have a healthy single baby with them. They should also be able to communicate in Turkish using the WhatsApp app. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but if you qualify, you can expect to take part in mindfulness exercises and share your experiences through surveys. This research will take place at the Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University between April 2024 and December 2025, and it aims to provide valuable insights into supporting breastfeeding for new mothers after a C-section.
