ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at a new type of dental filling material called zirconomer to see if it's better than a commonly used material called glass ionomer cement for treating cavities in children's back teeth (primary molars). The study will involve children aged 5 to 7 years old who have cavities that are not too severe and do not have any signs of infection. Both boys and girls can participate as long as they are able to cooperate during the dental procedures.

If your child is chosen to be part of the trial, they will receive either the new zirconomer filling or the standard glass ionomer filling. The goal is to find out which material works better in repairing their teeth. It's important to note that children with serious health issues or whose parents do not want them to participate will not be included in the study. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to help improve dental care for children in the future.
