ClinConnect Summary
The MOVESCHOOL trial is studying a program designed to help teenagers be more physically active during the school day. This program includes fun activities like physically active learning, short active breaks, and more playful recess times. The goal is to see how these changes can improve not just physical fitness, but also health and learning outcomes for adolescents.
To participate, teenagers need to be in their first three years of secondary school (ESO) and have permission from their parents or guardians. The schools involved must have at least 80 students in these grades and be located in the regions of Cáceres and Cádiz. However, students with any physical disabilities or health issues that limit their ability to be active cannot join. If eligible, participants can expect to engage in enjoyable activities that promote movement and learning, making their school experience healthier and more active.
