Fertility and Preconceptional Health Knowledge and Attitudes Among University Students

This clinical trial is studying how training on Reproductive Life Plans (RLP) can improve university students' knowledge and attitudes about fertility and preconception health. The researchers want to see if by teaching students about fertility options and healthy life habits, they can help them make better decisions about having children in the future. The study will include around 160 senior undergraduate students from various departments at Bartın University, and it’s important that these students are single, aged 20-40, and able to communicate in Turkish.

Participants in the study will be divided into two groups: one group will receive special training based on a booklet about reproductive health, while the other group will not receive any training. Everyone will take a test before and after the training to measure any changes in their knowledge and attitudes. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to gather valuable information to help students understand fertility better and plan for their future reproductive health.

Eligibility criteria

• Inclusion Criteria:
• • Between May 2023 and October 2024, at Bartın University, Department of Art History, Department of History, Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Department of Contemporary Turkish Dialects and Literatures, Department of Computer Technology and Information Systems and Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Science. , Department of Computer Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Landscape Architecture and Department of Civil Engineering, Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Trade and Logistics , senior undergraduate students studying in the Department of Economics, Department of Business Administration and Department of Management Information Systems and the Department of Islamic Sciences of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences.

• • Having no children
• • Can communicate in Turkish
• • Without visual, hearing or mental disabilities
• • Those who volunteer to participate in the research will be included.
• Exclusion Criteria:
• • Those who are pregnant
• • Those who work in the field of health or are taking health-related courses
