ClinConnect Summary
The InformationSeekingMesolimbicEngagementStudy1 is a clinical trial that aims to understand how people feel motivated to learn when they have control over their learning environment. Participants will take part in a fun Game Show task designed to see how they explore information on their own. This study is currently looking for volunteers aged between 65 and 74 years old, and it's open to all genders.
To be eligible, participants should have good vision (20/40 or better) and be in good overall health. However, there are some important exclusions, such as individuals with a history of head injuries, certain medical conditions affecting the brain, or those who have taken specific medications that can impact alertness. Participants should also be free of any metal devices or implants that would prevent them from undergoing MRI scans. If you are interested in participating, you can expect an engaging experience that contributes to our understanding of motivation and learning!
