Mpfl Kujala Pain Questionnaire Translation

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focused on translating and adapting a questionnaire called the Anterior Knee Pain Scale (Kujala) into Danish. This scale helps doctors understand how knee pain affects people's daily lives, particularly for those with conditions like patella subluxation (partial dislocation) and patellofemoral pain syndrome (pain around the kneecap). Although the Kujala has been used in Denmark for many years, it has not been officially translated into Danish according to international standards. By creating a Danish version, the researchers aim to ensure that the questionnaire provides accurate results for patients with knee issues in Denmark.

To participate in this trial, you need to speak Danish and have undergone a specific knee surgery called MPFL reconstruction. The study is currently recruiting participants, and those who join can expect to complete the Kujala questionnaire to help researchers verify how well the Danish version works. This will ultimately support better treatment options for individuals experiencing knee pain.
