ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Understanding Patient Experience Among Asians At MD Anderson," aims to explore how Asian patients experience their cancer care. The researchers want to find out what helps or hinders a positive experience for these patients while receiving treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center. They are currently looking for participants, including former cancer patients who identify as Asian or Asian American and received inpatient care at MD Anderson between 2019 and 2022. Participants must be 18 years or older and able to read and write in English or simplified Chinese.
In addition to former patients, the study is also seeking healthcare providers who have treated Asian or Asian American patients with specific types of cancer, such as breast or colon cancer, during the same time frame. Participants can expect to share their experiences and insights, which will help improve the quality of care for future patients. This study is important as it aims to understand and address the unique challenges that Asian patients may face in their cancer journey.
