ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a condition called lichen planus (LP), which is a long-lasting skin issue that can cause inflammation and discomfort. Researchers want to learn more about a protein called cold-inducible RNA-binding protein (CIRP) to see how its levels differ between people with LP and those who are healthy. By comparing the amounts of this protein in the blood and tissues of participants, the study aims to better understand the role of CIRP in LP, which could help improve treatment options in the future.
To join the study, participants must be between 18 and 60 years old and have been diagnosed with LP without receiving any treatments for the past three months. The trial is open to both men and women, but some individuals, such as those who are pregnant or have certain other health conditions, won't be eligible. If you participate, you can expect to provide blood and tissue samples, which will help researchers gather important information about LP and its connection to CIRP.
