ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how many different focus points are needed to create a reliable visual curve for people who have had cataract surgery. Specifically, it aims to understand how these focus points can be measured and used to help improve vision for individuals with conditions like presbyopia (difficulty seeing close objects), pseudophakia (having artificial lenses after cataract surgery), and other refractive errors. The study will use mathematical models and compare them with actual measurements taken from participants who have undergone uncomplicated cataract surgery.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be over 40 years old, have had premium cataract surgery in both eyes, and have a specific level of corrected vision. People who have certain eye conditions, such as macular or corneal diseases, or those taking specific medications, may not qualify. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo some tests to measure your vision and help researchers understand how to improve visual outcomes for people like you. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and everyone is welcome regardless of gender.
