ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at the connection between smartphone addiction and jaw problems known as temporomandibular disorders (TMD) in young adults in Egypt. Researchers want to understand if spending too much time on smartphones is linked to issues like jaw pain or discomfort. To do this, they will ask participants to fill out an online questionnaire. The study will include 296 adults aged 18 to 35 who do not have any previous neck or jaw injuries, certain medical conditions, or surgeries related to these areas.
If you are between 18 and 35 years old and regularly use a smartphone, you might be eligible to participate. Participants will complete a simple online survey that includes some basic questions about their background and their smartphone use. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to gather important information that could help understand how our technology use affects our health, especially regarding jaw issues.
