ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how mandala art therapy can help kidney transplant recipients feel less anxious and more comfortable after their surgery. Kidney transplants can greatly improve a person's quality of life, but they can also bring about challenges that might lead to increased anxiety and discomfort. Mandala art therapy involves creating beautiful circular designs, which can promote relaxation, focus, and emotional expression. The goal of the study is to see if engaging in this type of art therapy can improve the mental and emotional well-being of those who have received a kidney transplant.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be at least 18 years old and have received a kidney transplant for the first time. They should be able to understand their surroundings and be willing to take part voluntarily. However, those with certain psychiatric illnesses or physical disabilities that make it hard to draw may not be eligible. Participants can expect to engage in mandala art activities and share their feelings about how this therapy affects their anxiety and comfort levels. The findings from this study could help healthcare providers better support kidney transplant recipients in their recovery journey.
