ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a tool called Legit.Health, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to improve how healthcare professionals manage skin conditions like acne, alopecia (hair loss), and pigmented lesions (skin spots). The goal is to see if this tool can help doctors prioritize patients who need urgent care, improve the accuracy of diagnoses, and ultimately make the patient care process more efficient. By using AI, the hope is to reduce the number of in-person visits needed and save time and resources for both patients and healthcare providers.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old (or 16 for acne) and have specific skin conditions, such as new or previously scheduled appointments for pigmented lesions, active acne, or androgenetic alopecia. Participants can expect to be involved in the study for 1 to 3 months, depending on their condition, and they will work with dermatology specialists at the IDEI Dermatology Unit. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it's designed to help improve how skin conditions are diagnosed and treated, making it easier for patients to receive the care they need.
