ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different ways to manage pain after abdominal cancer surgeries. One method uses a combination of two medications given through an intravenous (IV) infusion called Ketofol, while the other uses standard inhaled anesthesia. The goal is to find out which method provides better pain relief after surgery.
To participate in this trial, you need to be between 18 and 60 years old and in good health, specifically classified as ASA 1 or 2, which means you have no serious health issues. Unfortunately, if you have certain medical conditions such as heart or lung diseases, or if you have a history of problems with anesthesia, you may not be eligible. If you choose to join, you will receive either the Ketofol infusion or inhaled anesthesia during your surgery, and the researchers will monitor your pain levels afterward to see which option works better for recovery.
