ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how effective an escape-room game is in helping nursing students learn to identify heart rhythm problems, known as arrhythmias, in critically ill patients. The researchers want to compare two different approaches: one where students participate in a real-life escape room and another where they engage in a virtual escape room. By doing this, they hope to find out which method helps students learn better and feel more confident in their skills.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be nursing students who have already completed a course focused on adult and elderly health. During the trial, students will first attend a lesson on arrhythmias and then be randomly assigned to either the in-person or virtual escape room. They will take tests before and after the experience to measure their knowledge and feelings about the training. The goal is to improve nursing education and ultimately enhance patient care by making it easier for nurses to recognize important health changes in critical patients.
