ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a graphic novel can help reduce anxiety and stress in patients with pancreatic problems who are about to undergo a specific procedure called EUS-FNB (endoscopic ultrasound with fine needle biopsy). This procedure can be stressful for patients, especially when they know a biopsy (a small tissue sample) is involved. The researchers want to see if reading a graphic novel while waiting for the procedure can make patients feel calmer and less anxious.
To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and have a pancreatic mass or cyst. You also need to be able to read and understand the consent form and not have any known psychological disorders. In the trial, some patients will receive the graphic novel to read, while others will not. After the procedure, all participants will answer some questionnaires to help measure their anxiety and stress levels. The study is designed to ensure the safety and rights of all participants, and informed consent will be obtained before anyone joins.
