ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a specific technique called "manual diaphragmatic activation" can improve diaphragm function in patients who have gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The diaphragm is a muscle that helps with breathing and plays a role in digestion, and the researchers want to see if this technique can help those with GERD feel better.
To be part of this study, participants need to be between 20 and 50 years old, have a body mass index (BMI) between 20 and 34.9, and have a low level of physical therapy. Unfortunately, individuals who are pregnant, have open wounds, have had recent abdominal or spinal surgery, or have certain medical conditions cannot participate. If eligible, participants will receive the manual diaphragmatic activation treatment and may experience improvements in their symptoms. The trial is currently recruiting, and anyone interested should reach out for more information.
