ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "On the ICC's Path: a Prevalence Study," is looking at how common chronic ankle instability is among trail runners in France. Chronic ankle instability can happen after repeated ankle sprains, which is a concern for those who participate in trail running and ultra trail running, activities that often put extra stress on the ankles. The goal of this study is to gather information about how many trail runners experience this issue.
If you're an adult over 18 who has participated in at least one trail running or ultra trail running race, you may be eligible to join this study. Unfortunately, minors and certain adults who cannot give consent are excluded. Participants can expect to share their experiences and health information related to their ankles. It’s important to note that the study is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more information available in the future about how to get involved.
