ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a digital training program designed to help older adults stay active and improve their overall well-being. The program focuses on promoting healthy aging by enhancing physical, mental, and social skills, while also building resilience, which is the ability to cope with stress and challenges. Participants aged 65 and older will be divided into different groups to receive various types of training over four weeks, all delivered online through Zoom.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be healthy and meet specific criteria. For the Chinese group, they should be Chinese migrants who can communicate in Mandarin. The Canadian group must be White Canadian citizens who speak, read, and write in English. Participants will complete assessments before and after the training to measure improvements in their physical, psychological, and social functions. This research aims to find effective ways to support older adults in maintaining a fulfilling and connected life, especially during times of stress or loneliness.
