ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how special 3D-printed hand braces, called dynamic orthoses, can help stroke survivors improve the use of their arms and hands. The study is currently recruiting participants who have had a stroke at least three months ago and still have some movement in their affected arm. To be eligible, participants should be able to lift their shoulder at least 45 degrees and be at a certain stage of recovery in their hand function.
If chosen to participate, individuals will be involved in training sessions using these custom braces to see how well they can improve their hand function. However, those who have regained full hand control, have certain joint problems, or other neurological conditions won't be included in the study. This trial is a great opportunity for stroke survivors looking to regain more independence with their upper limb function.
