ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "Activity and Participation in Vestibular Disorders," is studying how certain health issues and personal factors affect the daily activities and participation of people with vestibular disorders, which can cause dizziness and balance problems. The researchers will collect information from participants before they start a specialized therapy called vestibular rehabilitation and again after they finish it. This will help them understand how these factors influence a person's ability to engage in everyday activities and social interactions.
To participate in this study, individuals need to be at least 18 years old and have a medical diagnosis of unilateral vestibular hypofunction, which means they have balance issues on one side. However, those with certain conditions, such as severe cognitive impairment, poor eyesight, or significant loss of feeling in their feet, will not be eligible. Participants can expect to contribute to important research that may improve understanding and treatment of vestibular disorders, helping others with similar challenges in the future. The study is currently looking for volunteers, and all genders are welcome to join.
