ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Endotypic Stability in CRS," is studying chronic sinusitis, a long-lasting condition that affects the sinuses. Researchers want to understand how different factors, like immune responses and tissue samples, relate to the symptoms and quality of life of patients with chronic sinusitis. They will compare results from 150 patients who have the condition to 50 people without it, focusing on things like nasal secretions, tissue samples, and various surveys about health and well-being.
To participate in this study, you need to be over 18 years old and have chronic sinusitis, with or without nasal polyps. You should also be scheduled for endoscopic sinus surgery during the study period and not have any other serious chronic illnesses or cancer. If you join, you can expect to undergo a variety of tests and surveys that will help researchers learn more about chronic sinusitis and improve treatment options for patients in the future. This study is currently recruiting participants of all genders, and we hope to gain important insights that could benefit many people dealing with this condition.
