ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the use of a suprascapular nerve block, which is an injection aimed at helping patients recover from rotator cuff repair surgery. The goal is to see if this method, guided by ultrasound (a type of imaging), can improve shoulder rehabilitation and reduce pain more effectively than traditional approaches. The trial is currently looking for participants who have had rotator cuff surgery within the last week.
To be eligible for the trial, participants must be between the ages of 65 to 74 or younger than 23, and they should not have had any previous surgeries on the same shoulder. People with certain medical conditions, such as neurological diseases, chronic pain requiring strong medications, or cognitive impairments, will not be able to join. Those who participate can expect to receive an injection that may help ease their pain and improve their recovery after surgery. Overall, this trial aims to provide valuable insights into better pain management and rehabilitation for shoulder surgery patients.
