ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of a modern heart imaging test called coronary CT angiography (CCTA). This test is important for diagnosing conditions related to the heart, especially in patients who may have blockages in their coronary arteries. The goal is to gather real-world information about how well this latest technology works in identifying serious heart issues, and to understand why there might be differences in results when compared to other types of heart tests.
To participate in this trial, individuals should be between the ages of 65 and 74, have undergone a CCTA with a specific type of machine (more than 64 rows), and have had an invasive coronary angiography (another heart test) within a month of the CCTA. Participants can expect to contribute to valuable research that may improve heart disease diagnostics in the future. The trial is currently recruiting, and both men and women are welcome to join.
