ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how personalized nursing care can improve the comfort and satisfaction of patients undergoing hemodialysis, which is a treatment for chronic kidney failure. The care will be based on a special approach called Kolcaba's comfort theory, which focuses on understanding and addressing individual patient needs. Patients who join this study will receive tailored nursing care during their hemodialysis sessions for a total of 12 treatments. The goal is to see if this individualized care can help patients feel more comfortable and better manage the symptoms related to their treatment.
To participate in the trial, you need to be over 18 years old and have a clinical diagnosis of chronic kidney failure, receiving hemodialysis three times a week. It’s important that you can communicate effectively, but unfortunately, individuals with psychiatric illnesses will not be eligible to participate. If you join the study, you can expect to receive care that is specifically designed for you, which may enhance your overall experience during treatment. This research aims to not only improve patient care but also to help guide future nursing practices for all patients in similar situations.
