ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focusing on improving mental health for children in Uganda by training teachers and health workers on how to recognize and support students who may be facing mental health challenges. The project aims to create a better understanding of mental health issues among school staff and to build a partnership between schools, health services, and other important community members. By doing this, the trial hopes to create a healthier school environment and help identify children who may need extra support.
To participate in this trial, you need to be a teacher or staff member at a selected primary school in Mbale, Uganda. Additionally, child-caregiver pairs can join if the child is enrolled in one of these schools and their caregiver agrees to participate. Participants can expect to be part of training sessions and activities that aim to promote mental well-being for children. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of young students and their families.
