ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how effective titanium elastic nails are for treating fractures in the forearm of children aged 4 to 16 years. Specifically, it focuses on cases where there are fractures at the end of the radius bone, which is located in the wrist area. The goal is to see how well this treatment works in helping children regain function and how their bones heal over a short period of time.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be between 4 and 16 years old and have a specific type of fracture that is either simple or slightly complex but not too severe. The trial is open to all children, regardless of gender. If a child is selected to participate, they can expect to receive treatment with the titanium nails and will be monitored to assess their recovery. It's important to know that children with more complicated fractures or multiple fractures in the same limb will not be able to join this trial.
