ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of two different types of braces for treating broken collarbones, specifically midshaft clavicle fractures. Researchers want to see if a self-adjustable clavicular brace works better than a standard clavicular brace in helping patients heal after their injury. The trial is currently looking for participants aged between 18 and 75 who have suffered a closed fracture of the midshaft of the collarbone within the last 9 days.
If you join this study, you will receive one of the two types of braces and will be monitored to see how well it helps your fracture heal. To be eligible, you should be in good health aside from the fracture, and you should not have serious complications that could affect the brace's function, like other broken bones or injuries. This trial aims to find out which brace might provide better support and healing, ultimately helping future patients with similar injuries.
