ClinConnect Summary
The REgistRy BRAnch goRE EndopRosthEsis trial is a study looking at a new treatment for patients with conditions affecting the thoracic aorta, such as aortic aneurysms and aortic dissections. Researchers want to learn more about how well the Gore thoracic branched endoprosthesis, a type of special stent used to support the aorta, works for people with these conditions.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be at least 18 years old and planning to receive the Gore TAG thoracic branched endograft for their thoracic aorta issues. Unfortunately, patients who are allergic to any of the materials used in the endograft or who are receiving other types of stent devices will not be eligible. While the trial is not yet recruiting, those who are eligible can expect to be monitored closely to understand how this new device affects their condition. This study could help improve future treatments for similar aortic problems.
