ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a condition called post-HSA syndrome, which some patients may experience after suffering a subarachnoid hemorrhage (a type of bleeding in the brain). The researchers want to understand how this syndrome affects recovery over time, looking at patients at three different points: 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year after their brain bleed. They will use a questionnaire called the Rivermead to measure how the patients are doing and how the syndrome might impact their daily lives.
To participate in the study, patients need to be between the ages of 18 and 65 and must have been hospitalized in the intensive care unit at Hôpital Lariboisière for a subarachnoid hemorrhage due to an aneurysm from September 2022 to September 2023. Participants will be asked questions about their recovery and experiences related to the syndrome. It's important to note that patients with certain conditions, like ongoing motor deficits or neurodegenerative diseases, will not be eligible to join the study. This research is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to provide valuable insights into recovery after this serious condition.
