ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to compare two types of dental implants—called KS and TS implants—used for patients who have lost all their teeth in the lower jaw, a condition known as being edentulous. The goal is to see how well these implants work in supporting dental-retained overdentures, which are removable dentures that are secured onto the implants. The study will check both clinical results (how well the implants perform in treating patients) and radiographic outcomes (what the X-rays show about the implants).
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have a specific amount of healthy bone in your lower jaw to support the implants. The trial welcomes all genders and includes smokers, but it excludes individuals with certain health issues, such as uncontrolled diabetes or untreated gum disease. If you join, you can expect to be followed for five years, during which time your progress and the condition of the implants will be monitored. This study is currently not recruiting participants yet, but it aims to provide valuable insights into the best options for dental implants for those who need them.
