ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a program called the Immediate Stabilization Procedure (ISP®), which is designed to help people cope with the immediate effects of traumatic experiences, especially after events like the recent war in Israel. By using an online platform, the study aims to see if this intervention can help reduce the chances of developing long-term issues like Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
To participate, you need to be at least 18 years old, speak Hebrew, and have been in Israel since October 7, 2023. You should have experienced some form of trauma during the war, such as hearing alarms or being in a dangerous situation. You will also need access to a computer or smartphone and basic skills to use the internet. If selected, you will take part in the intervention while being observed over a Zoom call, which will help researchers understand how well the program works. This study is still in the planning stages and is not yet recruiting participants.
