ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on developing and validating a new tool called the Turkish Atılım Kinesiophobia Scale. This scale aims to better understand kinesiophobia, which is an intense fear of movement that some people experience, especially those with pain from injuries or surgeries. Currently, existing questionnaires may not fully capture the concerns of different patient groups, so this study seeks to create a more effective scale that can be easily understood and used by patients.
To participate in this trial, individuals aged 18 to 70 who are experiencing chronic pain due to an injury or surgery may be eligible. However, those who have trouble understanding or cooperating with the questions, as well as those who cannot read, will not be included. Participants can expect to answer a series of questions that will help researchers assess their fear of movement. This study is currently recruiting participants, and your involvement could contribute to a better understanding of how to address kinesiophobia in patients.
