ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how effective MRI (a type of imaging test) is in diagnosing and predicting the outcomes for patients experiencing sudden hearing loss or symptoms related to Ménière's disease, which can cause dizziness and ringing in the ears. The goal is to see if combining MRI scans with hearing tests on the same day can help doctors better understand the relationship between what they see in the scans and the patient’s symptoms.

To participate in the trial, you need to be over 18 years old and have had symptoms for less than 10 days, with no previous episodes of sudden hearing loss. You should not have taken certain medications recently or have specific conditions that could affect your eligibility, like known ear diseases or serious kidney issues. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo several tests, including hearing evaluations and blood tests, to help researchers gather important information about your condition. This trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders, so if you or a loved one fits the criteria, this could be an opportunity to contribute to important medical research.
