ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to understand how certain environmental toxins, like heavy metals and chemicals found in everyday products, may affect digestive health and overall well-being. Researchers want to compare the levels of these toxins in urine samples from people who have gastrointestinal (GI) issues, such as stomach pain or bloating, to see if there’s a connection between these toxins and their health problems.
To join the study, participants should be between the ages of 65 and 74 and must have symptoms related to their gastrointestinal health. They also need to be willing to provide urine samples and give their consent to participate. However, if someone has taken antibiotics in the two weeks before the study, they won’t be eligible. If you join, you can expect to provide a urine sample and help researchers learn more about how environmental factors might impact health, potentially leading to better treatments in the future.
