ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how problems with the arms and shoulders (upper extremity pathologies) relate to various factors in people who have had spinal cord injuries. Researchers want to understand how things like age, how long someone has been using a manual wheelchair, and the duration of their injury affect musculoskeletal pain and other issues in these patients. The goal is to gather important information that could help improve care for individuals with spinal cord injuries.
To participate in this study, individuals must have had a spinal cord injury and be able to understand and follow simple instructions. They also need to be medically stable and agree to take part in the research. However, certain conditions may exclude someone from participating, such as having significant heart problems, cognitive difficulties, or recent surgery on the arms. If eligible, participants can expect to undergo physical exams and ultrasound tests to assess their upper body health, all while contributing to important research that could benefit others in the future.
