ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating whether virtual reality (VR) technology can help reduce pain during a medical procedure called a colonoscopy, which is used to examine the inside of the colon. The study will compare the pain levels experienced by two groups of participants: one group will use VR during the procedure, while the other group will not. The goal is to see if using VR makes the experience more comfortable for patients.
To participate, individuals must be between the ages of 18 and 50 and be able to fill out questionnaires on their own. They also need to be in stable health without serious heart or brain conditions. However, people with severe vision or hearing impairments, or those with a history of certain mental health issues, may not be eligible. If you decide to join the trial, you'll have the chance to explore whether VR can make your colonoscopy experience easier and less painful. The study is currently looking for participants, so if you're interested, you could help contribute to important research in this area.
